Announcing our latest come one, come all brotherhood sponsored poker tournament. Once again, this will be a $30 buy-in for a tournament style Texas hold ‘em event. Any individual bar/bat mitzvah age or above is welcome to play. Non-members are welcome as guests of any temple member.

There will be a learners’ table for those people who are not as experienced in play but still want to have the fun and an opportunity to learn. This format is to allow both new and seasoned players to gain experience in a tournament style event. That means, unlike home games where you play until you lose all your money or time’s up, this is a chance to win bragging rights as the TKTPGC!!! (Temple Kol Tikvah Poker Grand Champion)

You buy in for $30 and can buy back for the first 90 minutes. After that, we raise the antes and play until there is one winner. The top 3 finishers get cash prizes. The actual prize amount will be determined by how many players participate as well as the number of buy-ins. Some the cost is earmarked for the cost of the food and some is for fund raising for the brotherhood to sponsor future entertainment events.

In the very least, this will be no more expensive than going out for an evening—So everybody wins and can have a community wide social time.

Alongside the poker, consider coming and playing chess or any other game (i.e. Scrabble or bridge, etc.)

This event will also include dinner, dessert, as well as a limited selection of beverages [also BYOB].

Babysitting will be available for $10 if playing. If not playing, drop off your kids for $25 per family and have an adult night out. Please RSVP by March 10th
