About the event
Students in this years' B'nei Mitzvah class have worked together to plan and organize a food drive to support the Jewish Family Services Food Pantry. They met with a representative from JFS to learn about what JFS is, what they do and how they serve our Jewish community. They have spent multiple Sundays organizing and planning all the logistics for the food drive together. They have created flyers, posters, and goals. This has been all a collaborative effort made by every single student in this class under the supervision of their amazing teachers, Garrett Cooperman and Maren Lawee.
Please consider helping them reach their goal of 1600 goods/items donated.
On January 11th, the students will pack up vehicles with all items/ goods donated and travel down to Charlotte to deliver all items to JFS.
They will also help organize and stock the pantry!
